DeLaSalle Robotics believes that the inability to pay an activity fee should not limit our students opportunities. However, this does not absolve us from having to buy $200 motors or $50 actuators. So if you are able we greatly appreciate any support you can provide.
To support Islanders Robotics financially, individuals can use the DeLaSalle school giving website click the "Make a Donation" button. Enter the amount you'd like to donate, select "Activities and Athletics" and leave a comment declaring you'd like you donation to go to the Robotics team. Thank you for your support!
The team is also very appreciative of gifts of in-kind support such as CNC machining of materials for robot construction or access to space nearby the school for practice and construction during the season which runs from January to mid April each year. If you would like to discuss supporting the team in one of these manners, please contact the Lead Mentor DeWayne Townsend.
DeLaSalle Robotics is a small team. We routinely compete with schools that are 4-5x the size of DeLaSalle. Our small size creates excellent opportunities for our students, but does present some challenges. Sponsorships are one way to meet this challenge.
See the chart for our sponsor levels.
We are appreciative of in-kind support such as water-jet cutting, CNC milling, welding, etc.
We are a registered 501c3 so any sponsorships can be written off as donations.
For in-kind sponsorships please contact us here.
For monetary sponsorships use this link and select "Other" for the designation and then enter "Robotics" as the gift designation.
